diabetes is a huge problem here

Our first trip was in 2007. What a change in BMI since then.
It's a pain in the ass.
Would anybody listen to me (us), belonging to no risk categories --- none? (Unless you count over 45 as a risk category).

Don't feel bad. I was diagnosed with Type One at age 33. It took a month to figure out it wasn't Type Two in spit of the fact that I only weighed 125 lbs and went down to 110 in that month. Never thought I would be in the position of being grateful to take insulin injections, but I was.

I just pulled my test strips that I'm not using anymore out of the box that they were in and they are waaaay expired. If it was a month or two I would go ahead and pack them. But a year is too far gone I'm afraid. They work using an enzyme so I don't think the expiration date is total BS. I feel bad that I let something so useful go to waste.
