tipping transport driver? - Page 5

We tipped $20 when it was me and my husband on a trip. We tipped $30 when we had the 2 lil ones with us.

We also tipped a Taxi driver to let us OUT on the street in the dark where we was lost because he was drunk and driving ( we did not know this when we got in ) . When we noticed we asked him to pull over and let us out we would pay him for full fare to just let us out and not take us ( was said in English and in Spanish by my husband) finally my husband yelled to pull over let us out we would give him $5 more and he did . THAT was scary as heck. He was drunker then a shunk and was driving so fast and almost wrecking.

Ok so I'm dreaming here. but we may may come back to mexico ( cancun area and visit playa ) with allll six kids ( our 4 adopted children that have never seen mexico) and our two that have this summer so that would be 8 of us and we will probley tip $40. But we tip well if the Driver helps us get my sons medical stroller in and our bags and we don't have to do any of that. For a parent of a special needs child to be FREE of doing that even for a bit it is worth every single penny. We tip very well to those that make my children feel special. Expecially the ones that take the time out to speak with our special needs son and get to know him ( and trust me I know thats hard expecially if they don't speak much english and them him being handicap makes it worse * he is blind cp and autistic* anyways when someone goes out of their way to make their trip special I go out of my way to say thank you .

Most will say I over tip but if you see the smile of my childrens face and our son's face then you would know its worth it. Plus have I mentioned how nice it is to NOT lift the stroller? Or his special items?
