What's a fair amount for just getting you to the Hotel. I've always tipped 200 peso's each way but wasn't sure if that was overtipping or not. If that is considered undertipping,oh well.

for 200 they should carry your bags up and unpack for you
maybe a short shoulder rub, too

check the ARNIE CHALLENGE:

Whoa!!!! Arnie's da man.. A private transfer with snappysammy and contributing to a great cause, can't beat that. Can you transfer 6 with luggage??? Guessing that's a tall order. If you can't I'll still get a donation into AN.

Arriving Saturday, November 20th @ 9:30am. Leaving Saturday, November 27th @ 10:30am. Would like to be to the airport around 8:00am. Six of us with 1 Large piece of luggage each. Will only be one piece of luggage each as airline we're using charges for carry on luggage. Staying in Playacar.

We used Play.info for our transfer for our most recent trip. Playa.info drivers are great! They were on time, courteous, and even worked with us to find a quick beer and an ATM! My thanks to Heather, Christopher and Juan Jose (?) for taking good care of us. And yes tip your drivers well!!!

Sharkbait,

The vans Playa.info uses will have plenty of room for your crew and luggage.

Taxi drivers I do not tip unless they do some extra stuff

Van drivers arranged by Playa.info, I tipped the one time we used them.

Americans typically tip more than Mexicans, and I am sure the recipients of the tips appreciate it.

Servers at restaurants - the typical tip by locals I am told (by locals) is about 10%. Most of us tourists tip a bit more, don't we
