Thanks everyone for the kind comments.
I am very proud of Marissa...believe me when she heard Santa was coming I was surprised that she even considered going out on the porch to wave to him...let alone write a letter and hand it to him. Yes she is growing up...too fast I am afraid.
And yes she will get that Barbie (or two) this Christmas.

btw, Santa came around today on the fire truck. Normally, I'm the big goofball adult out there waving but I was grinchy and went back to sleep on the sofa

Carole let me tell ya' if neither one of the kids had gone out I would have been a big goofball too...I would have been out there taking pics anyway!!!
I just love the tradition the neighborhood community association has started. They do sometimes come around on the firetruck too...but it is always at night and we just stand in the door and wave. This is neat cause Santa stops and takes the time to pose for pics and hand out candycanes and collect letters.
