looking for hotel like the old sacbe

Hi We have been to playa 6 or 7 times and want to find a "hotel" Like the old sacbe. It had a thached roof and was so private and out of the way and quiet.
Ted told me about the new villa sacbe but they are really expensive. Does any one have any suggestions? We stayed at treetops before and it was ok.
How is tree tops now? We were going to stay in tulum again but think we want to stay in playa this time. We are bringing our 18 month old.

We stayed at Treetops last Nov. It's a great location and well-maintained, but it was noisy. The dive shop next door and parrots in a cage in the courtyard woke us very early every day, but with an 18 month old, that might not be a problem for you

The price was on the high side compared to similar properties.

Take a look at some of the hotels offered on this forum. Do a search for budget hotels, too, and you will find some good suggestions.
