Yikes
I was almost blasted across the room by those CAPS!
You're a hoser. You're a hoser. You're a double-hoser. A double-hoser? Yeah. I've never heard that one before. That's cause you're the only one. Take off eh! |

Over on My Favorite Thread, the Boobs On The Beach topic; there was a little Hockey Trash Talking. I think that some Leafs & RedWings fans might have gotten into it.
But I am a Mighty Ducks fan, so I am trying very hard to forget that hockey exists this year. |

I've met a lot of Canadians and they are all fantastic people. When we are in Playa we are often mistaken for Canadians (until we talk and they hear that we don't use Eh after every sentence
). We would meet you for a drink but we will be there too late for you- we are going March 6-13.

This topic has been banged around so much it hurts...Even I was drawn in to one of the more spirited episodes we had on here.
All that can be said, I think, has....PDC is a great place to go, no matter where you are from, and if you don't have a good time, then you aren't looking hard enough...There aren't a lot of nationalities that don't get hit here at some time or other...and I think we are all proud of where we come from...It would be ideal if we could put all the positive things said on here about the various countries and cultures we come from, but that would probably be a hard thing to do... In a final statement....People are people...and their prejudices show that..but I have NEVER found a spot that, with a little understanding, and conversation, I haven't been able to make my holidays a great thing.... James, we locked a similar post before...I think this one has run it's course... |

I would lock it for going off course, but it never really went in any direction to begin with.
As another Canadian sidenote, when peeps ask me where I'm from, and I say the States, they often react, like, "no duh, I mean what part of the states..." Usually I go, "what, I couldn't be Canadian? We had to go South to get to Canada where I grew up, eh!" They usually don't have much of a follow-up to that one. We left Detroit when I was 9, but I don't bring that up. |

When my family moved away from Motown, we used to always have to work the Vernors somehow no matter what. |

Ugh :o growing up in London, Ont., visiting my granny not far from the Vernor's factory, I never could stomach the stuff. Wonder if tastes change: perhaps I should try some (if it still really exists) next time I'm "down" in Southern Ontario?
PS I like this thread! |
