BarbC and Beachwolverine: Vernors is an old nausea remedy that our granny's and Mom's have used... but believe it or not we still offer it to our patients after surgery to help with post-op nausea and "gas" .... of course the anti-emetics (drugs) we give IV also helps a great deal .. but nothing like the good 'ole days.. :wink:

Growing up back in the distant past, when local accents were even stronger, I lived "halfway between Detroit and Torooto", i.e. London, Ont. and now, when I travel, I am occasionally mistaken for some kind of American... or even someone from Detroit!
DEEtroyt or Dee TROY it ? should we start a poll? :wink:

I thought those two towns were called Detroilet and Trona? Before all you Michigan folks jump on me, I certainly didn't want to offend anyone by badmouthing their home town, just repeating what I've heard. I rather liked Detroit, the only time I was ever there.

Hey all...I recently brought some Vernors with me to Playa, and boy did it come in handy when I over-indulged on the cervesas and that abundant resort food! Nothing like it for settling the traveler's tummy.

James...I knew I liked you, and now I know why..you can't escape those Motown roots!

Our trip was fabulous. I'll report soon. To all of you about to go...congrats, you will undoubtedly have the time of your life.
