My dad took us all to see the Nutcracker today. THAT will get you in the Christmas spirit and rip those 'cranky pants' right off ya. Everyone all dressed up (especially all the little girls...so cute!), the music, the dancers, watching my neice really get into it....it was a fantastic performance and put me in the holiday mood for sure.

I don't think you can wear tights like that and have cranky pants....


It's been a weird holiday season all over it seems, not just on the board... we were just talking about it at my house... fewer people decorating, shopping, sending cards... although I know to some all of those things are stressful and maybe that's just the direction everyone is moving--to simplify... but our neighborhood used to look way more festive.

Now it's just our house and we look like misfits!
