In Fashion Hotel...anyone stayed there?
I'm thinking of booking a suite at In Fashion Hotel in January, and was wondering if anyone has stayed there, or knows much about it. It's next to Coco Bongo, and that could present a noise problem as well!?

Take a look at La Tortuga, still central but quiet. Paul |

Its next to La Santanerra, and within 20 metres of CoCo Bongo and opposite Bali (or whatever the latest name is). 12th street between 5th and 10th is a great location for partying, 24 hour pizza/ late night food, and meeting revelers all night long.

You won't have a noise problem in your room. There is a very snooty bar and restaurant attached. Even though I have personal reasons for disliking the place, It would be an interesting place to stay for a few nights. |

I think Reina Rojo would be a MUCH more interesting hotel to stay at. In Fashion's bar AND restaurant were not open last night. |

. I haven't tired it but they do serve cold beer later in the day.Stick with Bylos for breakfast or Nativo, Vagabundo, Cuevo or Bip Bip (for their fruit plate). |

I would hate to even think how much money has been sunk into Reina Roja and how little ROI they are getting
.Another large boutique is under construction between AV. 1 & 5 and calle 30 and 32. Another hotel is about 90% complete on the corner of AV. 10 and calle 26. What are these people thinking ![]() ![]()

I don't get it either. Everything was fine and on the up and up in Playa until early summer 2008. That's when I first noticed a sharp decline in tourism and investment. Why would anyone build more hotels in this current economic environment? And then add the media issues in the U.S. You would have to be crazy to build a new hotel. IMO. Paul |
