Taxi from the airport?

Hi all,

I guess this question is being asked over and over in the forum, so sorry if its the case.

Last times we were there, we booked the trip fron Cancun to PDC with the travel agency. It's obviously much more expensive that a cab.

We will arrive on a thursday afternoon (maybe less bsy than a weekend) and will be 4 people. Can we just grab a cab from the airport to PDC or should we book something?

Yes, it has been discussed over and over.

4 peeps x 15usd/head for a collective ( you'll wait a bit, might need to negotiate, and it makes stops) is almost as much as a private van booked via this site.

A guy will be waiting for you with your last name on a sign. Modern van. A/C. No stops. No haggling. Prepaid. 2 bucks more. You don't share with anyone, direct to your hotel/condo/whatever.

The other option is the bus. 75 pesos each (half the price of collectivo or private van for 4) you can grab at the far end of the airport. It's a good service. A/C, modern buses. Drops you off at the bus station in town. Grab a taxi from the bus station to your hotel.
