Xcaret or Xel Ha?
We visited PDC last year & are going back next week. Last year we went to Xel Ha...we were thinking about going to Xcaret this time. Can anyone compare the two? We are looking for natural beauty/snorkeling.

Xel Ha is a snorkeling park. Xcaret isn't.
try a search. this very, very common question has been discussed alot. there are alot of snorkeling options beyond the "parks."

Natural beauty??? If you take the $120 you'll spend at xcaret to Akumal, you can:
1. Snorkel all day at Yal-ku lagoon for $6 ea. 2. Lunch, drinks, snorkeling at La Buena Vida on Half-moon Bay $20 ea. 3. Snorkel in Akumal Bay $0 4. for dinner, Pizza and drinks at Lol-ha on the beach $15 ea 5. Donate the remaining $38 to support the CEA or library before you leave town Much better deal overall! |
