Been reported that it took an HOUR for ambulances to get there!!! I hope this isn't true!

How many of the resorts in/around Playa are built in this way - on top of mangrove swamps? Maybe this tragedy will lead to stricter regulations in that respect, at least.

I wouldnt read too much into that Beesknees, there have been reports from guests at the hotel who said the ambulances were on the scene very quickly.

Its a horrific tragedy and my prayers go out to everybody affected by this.

My heart goes out to all of those involved in this tragedy! We stayed at this resort last March and I am looking at these photo's and reports.................and I simply do not have words to describe how I feel. Prayers for those injured and to those that have lost loved ones!
