I only knew Larry Lawrence ("Bones") for five weeks - and one hurricane - but he will always be one of those special "characters" in my life. I'm certain there were some troubled periods in his past life (although he never labored over them,) His present was always talkative and up-beat; and his future seldom went past tomorrow's Noon.

My fears of him dying alone and forgotten were eliminated with the turn-out at his wake. I thank the people of Paamul and Playa for hosting such a memorial. I only hope that his family becomes aware of his many friends.
