Maryann, Kelly, and i had the gnocchi with homemade pesto sauce....oh and it was divine. then, we had the meat lasagna and a special canneloni with fish, chicken, and a cheese sauce. my mouth is watering! Papa told us about the garden opening up...can't wait to get back!!

O.K. Sounds like I need to check this place out.
We usually do our pasta dinner at Casa Mediterranea on fifth as it is a good food and a nice setting. How would this compare and how are the prices ?

The setting at Util is nothing fancy and the prices are much lower.

yes...much lower then at CM. they have the best meat lasagna at Util that i think that i've ever had. you can also bring your own wine and they charge $5 to open it.

i had the gnocchi with another sauce (maybe gorgonzola) back in May, but Papa Charley suggested the pesto sauce and i'm so glad he did. i honestly couldn't decide between the 3 dishes which was my favorite!!

Can't wait to try this place in April sounds delicious, never got a chance to last year. We'll be visiting for 2.5 weeks so that ought to give me plenty of time to eat everywhere!

Sounds like it's an easy place to do carry out. We are bringing our 3 year old daughter and I think that some nights it may just be easier to do carry out and eat out on the patio. A'ndrea, I know that you've been to Ziggy Beach, is it true that they have a cenote there that combines with the sea. They had one at Caleta Tankah beach club and it closed years ago. It was bascally an above ground cenote that was connected to the sea.

if i'm not mistaken...i also think they do delivery within a certain distance. super easy to do carry out. as far as Ziggy's...i'm not really sure. maybe shoot Anna a PM to ask her. sorry!!

Util is ideal for carry-out. Was a favorite of ours last June when we were staying nearby at c/26 and 10th Ave.

LMAO... we were there and the wifey's back was bothering her pretty bad. She said to Papa Charly that there was no way she was going to let the pain in her back stop her from dragging herself there to Util. Soooo ....Papa Charly drove us home and said to us "if I can deliver food to my client's homes, I can also deliver my clients to their homes."

With restaurant owners like that... its another good reason to continue to frequent their place. (Not that we need a better reason than to have their great food)

Or Go up Constituyentes until I see 25th and hang a right onto that until cross street of 30th? Found it by accident last year but they were closed at that hour, would like to try this trip a time or two, thanks
