One of my nicest gifts from David was a pair of beautiful red leather gloves with cashmere lining. For the past five years or so, I've gotten hooked on wearing red leather gloves during the winter and am always on the lookout for another pair cuz they're hard to find.
When I opened them, I tried on the left glove and found it to be a big snug (David wasn't sure of size). When I went to try on the right glove, I couldn't.
The "pair" was a set of
two LEFT gloves!!!
I laughed my head off, but David didn't find it quite as funny.
At least that was the only gift that we opened that'll require exchanging at the store!
