Never on 5th

I'm starting to think you should have your own little booklet of all these neat places you find off of 5th to eat. They all look marvelous and are just what the hubster and I look for while on vacation. I'm keeping my own little scrit pad to take with us! Keep it coming!

I have one, A pocket size spiral notebook, very well worn I might add & almost full. Looking at it now it is telling me I should have tried the Empanadas at La Patrona. I don't carry it as much as I used to when wandering about Playa. Having the streets where place are wrote down can be a big help sometimes. Looking back in it 3 or 4 years I see that a lot of places are gone.

spiral notebook

That is exactly what I am keeping notes on as well - and it will be with us in Playa! Streets are a must for me or we end up following our noses! I really enjoy your trip reports and appreciate you taking the time.....this trip we are going to try to stay off 5th for the entire trip. We'll see!

I agree - after reading one of jimontheriver's past trip reports my husband commented - "Why don't we just find out when he is going again -book a trip for the same time and follow him around"! So Jim - if you ever feel like you are being stalked in Playa - it just may be us!!

Yes they do, tastes just like what you get in the US (but not the pure stuff). Best french toast of the trip was, once again at Bubba Gumps at the airport.

Bubba Gumps

We usually hit Bubba Gumps on our way home so it's the afternoon. LOVE their ginormous margaritas. That being said; I managed to drink two of them last year before boarding our flight to MSP.

ginormous Rita's

Yeah; it was a snooze and a half. Not bad for a three and a half hour flight.

Patiently waiting for more of this great report. It's too darn cold to do much else.
