getting out of PDC without a rental car

I'm not planning on renting a car while in PDC, but I'd like to get to some beaches (like Paamul, Xpu-Ha, and Akumal) and cenotes outside of town. My Spanish is fairly good and I'm hoping we'll be able to get to some of these places on the bus. Is this possible?

yep. you'll do just fine. the beaches and cenotes can be a couple klicks away from the highway in some cases. you might want to grab one of those maps that LauraMapchick makes with her husband Perry.
