In the past two days, Lisa & Ricardo have liberated 20 dogs from the Playa del Carmen perrera...all were left alone this entire weekend with no food and no care, their cages not cleaned......HELP US PLEASE TO MAKE THIS SITUATION PUBLIC! HELP US BY DONATING SO WE CAN SAVE MORE.....video to be posted soon....please help us, paypal to info@tierradeanimales.org....thank you!

This is a very Important!!!!! The entire perrera was going to be closed for the entire Easter weekend and those dogs had nothing!!!! I am so proud to call Lisa & Ricardo friends.

Xolo (Sho-Lo) is available for Adoption!
Xolo (SHolo) was found wandering the streets of Mexico extremely malnourished and with no hair on his body. (A photo of his before condition has been included in this album so you can witness just how far he's come!) This is where his name came from ...being hairless his rescuers thought he was a breed of hairless dog named the xoloitzcuintli. After being treated at the vet is became clear that Xolo had a severe case of mange. All his wonderfully fluffy orange coat grew back. He is a mellow loving boy that could sleep all day, he gets along well with all dogs people (including children) and even cats. This big teddy bear is looking for his forever home and promises to be a great friend!

Thank you for taking those dogs out of the perrera. I wish that they could all get out, I wish that none ever had to go there. The perrera haunts me and I wish I had the power to change it or abolish it.

Just got an update from Lisa!!! ALL dogs are out of the perrera NOW!!!!

I cannot stress how important it is for donations to continue care. One dog was so ill, it had to be put to sleep. However, there are many more that were saved!!! Once again, we have to stop and thank Coco's for spay and neuter services and medical help!!!
