sorry for the multiple posts, but Paul had a wicked time getting the pictures resized and kept on getting logged out of the forum.... He is a good egg for doing it! I will get him to post more, next weekend.

That Crock was in the water so fast when we got close... Paul had a huge Nikon 80-200 with a 1.5X extender telephoto lens on, so we didn't get close to him/her sunning on the log. Your in the safety of a boat, just don't go swimming

Can you set up a boat tour when you get there, or did you have to arrange it ahead of time? I've seen some tours going there, but with having to pay for 8-10 people it would break the bank... Hoping to catch a van for the day, but of course that wouldn't include a boat tour. I keep hearing about the pink sands where the flamingos are, and swimming?? Hopefully that was a fresh water croc, and not a salt water one.

We thought of you and Paul often on this trip, Mary- you'd have really enjoyed some of the places that we went.
Next time for sure!
And love to you both as well.

They were a little precarious for sure!
And thanks ... I'm going to wrap it up tonight.

Hopefully Harris will get back to you soon, MerriDias... I do know that they arranged the boat online the day before they went to Rio Lagartos but I don't remember what they paid.

when you get there, you will have dozens of people ready to serve you
they started following my car before we got into town so they could be first with the pitch
lots of competition for bidness, should result in quite a bidding war for your patronage

of course, i would never get in a boat with a lot of them

Thanks snappy!
As long as they're there, we'll be fine.
I usually don't like to get in a boat with my husband either...
That's why I'm the captain.
