Do you mean Hotel Alhambra? If so, just google it..they have a website with pics, rates, etc. They are located right on the beach in Playa.

Location can't be beat and the hotel itself is beautiful in the old Playa style. Great balconies for beach or 5th ave watching. Not many places left like it. I loved my stay there but I was solo and the room and B-room were quite small so just be prepared for that. Also unless you score the beachfront room, none of the rooms have a mini-fridge, at least they didn't a few years ago. To me that was the only "down" side and obviously it's not a biggie but I do like be able to keep a few things on hand like cold beer and chilled Tequila for that nite cap!

Overall, we liked staying in this hotel. It was super clean, great staff, included breakfast was nice. The issues we had were:

- no TV, (nice to watch the news for a bit in the morning), no clock, no fridge. The room was absent of all electronics you might normally find in a hotel. For many, this is very nice while on vacation
- we had a room facing Calle 8 & were woken up the 1st 2 mornings around 5 am by garbage trucks, dive operators & other normal business traffic. We ended up shutting the door/windows & running AC all night/morning to keep the noise out.
- The hotel is locked up tight after 10pm. They give you a metal key to the big wooden door for you to get in & out in the evening. We are partiers & were up late every night & found opening/closing this door to be a pain - something was messed up w/ the lock while we were there.
- there is NO nightlife @ this hotel. The restaurant closes early & that's it, lights out, nothing going on. Again, for many this is a plus.

If you are looking for calm, quiet & relaxing - this is a good choice. If you are out late, like to indulge in MANY adult beverages & want to come & go easily I would look somewhere else (like Fusion).
