Honeymoon help!

Okay, I posted on the general forum about my questions as well and I'm getting some great feedback, so I thought I'd post here as well. I'm trying to plan a honeymoon to Playa in August (I know...it's gonna be hot and sticky, but no other options). I've gotten mixed reviews about doing the AI thing in Playa. My fiance wants a bit of a night life, but we both want spa treatment and a laid back kid-free atmosphere. I'm looking at either the Royal Hideaway or the Aventura. I'm a little wary of the Aventura though due to it's distance from the town and I'm not so sure I want to put down the cash for the Royal Hideaway! I've also heard mixed reviews of the AI's for a honeymoon. I think it would be nice to not have to worry about the money thing while we're there, but I also want to make sure that we have ample access to the laid back nightlife of the town of Playa. I can't decide!!!! What are your opinions. For a romantic and adventurous honeymoon is an AI the right choice? If so is it that hard or expensive to get into town from the adventura? Is it too remote? Or is the Royal Hideaway the way to go since it's so nice and close to the town? Any other options for cheaper AI's close to town, or is AI just not the way to go. I know it's all a personal preferrence thing, but I like to get some ideas anyway. One other question.....should Cancun even be a thought? I've heard that it's just not as romantic. Any places that I should think about in Cancun before I make a final decision? Thanks for all your help. You guys and gals have been so helpful!
