Aventura or Spa Side?

We will be visiting the Aventura/Spa Resort April 27th-May 4th. Would love to hear from visitors about which "side" is the one to request. The reports state that the Adventura is the livelier side but the Spa is the newer part with nicer roms.

Does anyone know of a site that has a map of the resort; would love to have an idea where all the restaurants, the spa, the bars and snack areas are located.

Thank you so much for your help, we are so excited about our trip!

Have a wonderful day! Pat

IMO it really doesn't matter...

Hope this works - there's a good pic of the resort map on webshots. If the link doesn't work go there to the community section and search the photos with ASP as the keywork

IMO it really doesn't matter where you stay, because you can hang out on either side regardeless of where your room is. We usually "pack for the day" and don't go back to the room during the day anyway so it's a non-issue.

Hi!

I stayed at the ASP last year, we chose the Aventura side because the evening shows were always in the Aventura lobby. But you always end up going to either side depending on your mood. The Spa side pool area is much calmer than the Aventura side and is good for relaxation but if you want to be in the more active area you can go to the Aventura side pool. Also if you are in the Aventura side and want to relax you can always enjoy tranquility under a palapa. So it's actully not that important. On the other hand, I have no idea how much different can the rooms in the Spa side be. We loved our room in the Aventura side.

Hope this helps!
