Fundraising event for angel notion in michigan

Hi everyone! We are planning an event to raise money for Angel Notion Clinic, located in Playa Del Carmen Mexico. Many of you know that we (MSU 2nd year speech-pathology graduate students) provided speech and language services to children with special needs in Playa del Carmen this past October. We also followed up with them with a virtual skype clinic, and provided education for parents to help enhance their child's communicati......ve abilities. These children are less fortunate, and most have no health care. Many of them have NO toys at home.

This clinic does amazing work and the doctors and other health care providers are volunteers. Medical supplies is lacking, and any money we can provide, will allow these children to receive better services.

Price: $25

The cost of food is between 10 and 15$, so the remaining 10 to 15 $ will go directly to Angel Notion Clinic. Buffet style appetizers and dinner will be served. The food is delicious at this restaurant (promise).

We really need to know approximate numbers so we know the amount of food that should be ordered. This takes place at a bar, so drinks will obviously be available (Cash bar, for those of age

Yes! I will be there! My sister lives in the area and I will see if she is available. Kind of funny that I just posted for a Michigan peep meet this summer. Now we don't have to wait that long!

from lavonna: Grad students from MSU fund raiser generated $3600! They were articulate, poised, thoughtful and very well organized. Got to see some twins, DW and Blidge, made some new friends, but most of all am very proud of this graduating class! Well done, Becca and Dr. Lapine!

the fundraiser was great
from what i heard, the girls did a great job, everyone had a good time and a nice chunk of change was deposited in the angel notion acct
