Where to buy beach chairs?

We are renting a condo for the winter and see other folks bringing their own portable beach chairs. We have checked Mega, Walmart, and Chedraui. Any idea where we can purchase these?

Sam's Club or in Cancun, Costco has Tommy Bahama beach chairs for those that want to sit this in a "designer" beach chair

We're also looking these chairs...debating whether or not to bring our own with us. Are the chairs at Sam's the type that fold into a cylinder shape roll? Any idea on the cost?
Thanks

We look everywhere last week to buy one. Sam's in Playa didn't have any at that time (don't know about now) we end up buying ours at Sam's in Cancun. They are not the backpack one though, they fold up and have a strap to carry them on the shoulder.

At the time even Sams in Cancun didn't have the backpack style. So I guess your best bet would be Costco in Cancun

Or if you are looking at the camping cylinder shape one, you could find those at Walmart

We just came back from Sam's club, and agree with the posts. They do not have any, and I was so desperate I was even looking at an air mattress. We did end up buying 2 non reclining director type chairs that fold up, no strap and as long as you were going a short way we thought they would work. How can a beach town not carry the portable chairs? We paid about $28US for each.

beach loungers

We have been looking for the cheapie beach loungers and are lightweight and fold up flat. We have only seen loungers that are suitable for a deck or patio, not the ones for the beach. Has anyone seen these anywhere in the Playa area?

I know this might sound ridiculous to some of you, but having gone thru this for the last 7 yrs hunting high and low for certain items, buying something like beach chairs or bbq's is a purely seasonal thing. It is presently considered 'winter' in PDC...beach chairs are a 'summer' item!! They will be in stock in a few months. Sam's and Costco will have them - eventually.

Costco has Tommy Bahama beach chairs (as mentioned above) right now. They also have the umbrellas with the sand screw and nice beach mats.
