That is if we can agree on the weekend.
So that would be Thursday, July 28.

Where on the coast should we be?

Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, or Santa Barbara. We'd probably cut over from Yosemite to Paso Robles and head south from there.

Unless of course we don't do that, and you take the train to Simi Valley and we pick you up there.

Plan for whichever weekend is the best for y'all. If I can make it, I'll fly in and go on to Los Olivos. We won't have a meeting on Friday and hopefully the Thursday one is over by noon. I can get a flight out for the evening or early morning. Which is the closest airport to Los Olivos?

It looks like the last weekend of July may be achieving a little momentum.

Is that a correct reading of the thread?

Roni,
Check train schedules for arriving in Paso Robles on either Wed or Thurs. If Wed afternoon/evening, then we can spend Thurs wine tasting in Paso Robles. There's an over the top campground (more like RV Park) for wine tasters in Paso Robles, Wine Country RV ResortI haven't been there but I know some who have. They'll put my trailer where no one can see it. We can stay in the trailer Wed and Thursday. I think they even have cable hookup.

Will need a find a place to laundry, the over the top campground might have it.

Coast Starlight leaves Jack London Square in Oakland at about 9:00 am, arrives Paso Robles about 1:40 pm

Wednesday or Thursday either one.

The last week in July is looking really good. There is a conference that I want to attend at UCLA that begins on August 3rd.

Wednesday or Thursday either one.
250 miles on Wednesday. Probably about 6 hours of driving. Probably won't get to Paso Robles until about 3PM. This will be close to decide as to when is best for you guys to arrive, either Wed or Thurs.

The plane flight and that is about it, but that's pretty good. All of my expenses while I am in LA would be covered.

Well unfortunately, we are in Costa Rica July 29-August 5th, so if that is the weekend, then we won't be able to make it.
