I didn't stay in Escarcega, just had dinner and fueled up, but for what I saw, there are more lodging optons and in better conditions than when Michael Holmes stayed there many years ago.
I stayed at Zho Laguna (10km North of Xpujil) ), at a little cabaņa that costs 170 pesos a night and I don't think dogs or cats would be forbidden. Mhh, I need to re-post another reason to drive during the day in the area, hehee |

as a chocoholic i was really happy to see the new gansitos with chocolate cake but truth is i like the original yellow cake ones better just something about the whole gestalt i have to use a lot of restraint not to finish a box in two or three days, but i am getting better and of course down here you must refrigerate unless you live in an air conditioned place, which i will not do now i am really sorry i did not pick up a box at sam's yesterday |

I haven't had those in many many years (I didn't know about the chocolate ones, for example)
The originals should be this: ![]() normal cake dough and the new ones specify that they are chocolate ones, with a darker envelope ![]() I do recommend eating them cold or frozen,

![]() October 2011 For those of you who were concerned, our furry friend from Sota la Marina is still hanging out at the Pemex north of town. Seems to be doing just fine on his own. We again helped him out with some healthy snacks... borrowed from Tasha & Chuey. Jimmy Last edited by JimmyMN; 10-13-2011 at 12:18 PM.. |
