I was happy to see Russell go but at the same time, he sure did bring entertainment value to the show. In real life, I'd have to beat the crap out of him though. I'm rooting for Matt or Boston Rob!

im so sad russel is gone! he was/is an awesome survivor player. i laughed pretty good when he was first on...going on in a la accent how he lost everything in katrina, epmtying water, you name it. an agent of chaos he was which is entirely appropriate in that game.
and youre right, in the real world, that person would get their but kicked for pulling that shit. but then rob is pretty much the same, except he looks you in the eye and charms you when hes slowly putting the knife in your back...ask his former good friend lex about that. i think that approach is worse, as at least with russell you know that hes out to get people....with rob, you just dont know.

Edited to add: We watched the last two episodes this afternoon on You Tube.... I totally agree with those who scoffed at Russell crying...get a grip, man! It sure didn't last long, and he was right back at his usual a-hole self.

Did anyone see Jeff Probst's live Skype interview with Russell the night of his elimination? It's on Jeff's blog website. It almost (almost) changed my mind about Russell. He seemed almost introspective. Very sad that it's over for him now, and almost human. I will almost guarantee that Russell will be back on a future Survivor. The man can't get enough.

I guess I'm in the minority with you. I loved watching him from the start. I cringed a lot, but he really made the show more interesting IMO.
I also agree with what you say about Rob, but a little part of me roots for the home town guy.

I'm with you, Kim! Philip seems to have delusions...he makes no sense when he talks either. Matt totally deserves to be back in. Sarita had better not beat him. He will be a force to be reckoned with in a merged tribe, I think.
