Looking for the best steak in PDC

Hello,

We are staying at the Xaman-ha Luxury Condominiums (hope we like them)In a few weeks with another couple.

My wife and I like seafood but our friends like steak and they want me to find a great steak restaurant with a good selection of wine. I hope that's not asking for too much?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks/Tom

John Gray's Place might please all of your tastes. Located at Calle Corazon.

Ditto on Byblos

Was there 2 weeks ago, they had my wine.

They Also had my Steak and the Wifes Seafood.

All 4 of us raved about it, even next day.

We were also in Playacar.... not a long walk, in fact a perfect after diner walk.

Don Mario's. Ave 10 and Calle 8. Excellent food, wine, ambiance, and prices.

The best steak I've ever had in PDC was the filet mignon at Wicky's.

John Gray's. We only do Wicky's for lunch because they are sooo expensive. Didn't even order wine when we were there because it was outrageously priced. John Gray has his own wine label and the restaurant is tucked down a cozy little street off of fifth ave.

We ate 3 steakhouses a few weeks back.
El Diez- 2 horrible sirloins, great high def tv's though.
John Gray's- was a decent sirloin, wife had a decent filet as well. Served kinda bland was our only remark. They've got kick ass margaritas here though. Rasberry & Kiwi. Spensive...
Draco- was the best meat we had in PDC by far! The host kept raving about angus beef, angus beef, nowhere on 5th, but here. We sat and ate and it was delicious! I think it was down near 10 Sur & 5th. Price was pleasantly affordable. Highly recommended!
