I just took a walk up AV. 5 to calle 40 (starting at calle 28). This is what I found. The following restaurants were CLOSED - maybe just not open on Friday, maybe vacation, and maybe CLOSED. I don't know as none had any signage saying why they were not open tonight.
1) Como Como (on vacation)
2) el Facon Parilla
3) 1847
Again, I am not saying that they are closed for good - JUST NOT OPEN TONIGHT, FRIDAY NIGHT.

On a happier note: El Emporio (on calle 36 just west of AV.5) had a sign out offering a 30% discount on parilla meals (grilled meats?).

The Glass Bar Restaurant at AV. 5 and calle 12 is closed for remodeling - at least that's what the signage says. Also it says reopening June 21st.

Yes. It says it's opening Thursday, June 21st.
Which one do you believe?
Confused?
June 21st is a Tuesday.

June 21st is a Tuesday.
Damn, I hope that it doesn't close as I have a gift certificate for the Glass Bar.
As far as confused.........I was born confused and having June 21st be on a Tuesday and a Thursday is really confusing me.

Do you know what the weather will be manana? I need to know what to wear. See you manana. And whatever the weather - it will be great.

Was up at 4am as usual. My weather station only tells me that it is 85 degrees ouside and that it is nightime. I am predicting a wonderful day.

EDIT: 4:35am : one big lightening bolt lit up the sky followed by thunder followed by torrential rain. I am trading in my weather prognosticator. WTF!

yes , we got some to--about time, Playa has been getting it for the past few days and not a drop for us, and I was out watering last night---figures
but a good wake-up call for the MOSQUITOS---hate them!!!!!!!!!
