Riu Palace vs. Riu Playacar?
Hey guys, I was surfing the riu.com site, and I know that there are the Riu Palace Mexico (the one I want to stay in)
and the Riu Playacar, both near each other. I booked through apple vacations, and my invoice says Riu Palace Playacar :-? . Which one is that? I hope its the right one! Maybe im just nervous. thanks guys. raj |

I wouldn't worry...Playacar is the term generally reserved for the areas South of the Airport in Playa Del Carmen...
There are plans in the works for another Palace by the Riu properties...and there are Palaces in Mallorca and Spain.... |

Raj! It's me.
Not sure what an invoice is as I don't use them but if you booked with Apple and your hotel voucher says the Riu Playacar, then you are NOT staying at the Riu Palace. I'm looking at a hotel voucher from Apple right now and it says "Riu Palace Mexico std ROH all" If yours says that, then everything is A-OK. If it says Riu Playacar (no Palace)...ut oh! :o |
