No way, dude. I like Starbucks coffee. I don't like their proliferation programs. If the US used a Starbucks strategy in Iraq, we would have Baghdad pacified in a week.
I don't buy into the whole "Playa is ruined" complaints of the Playa purists, however. Its a little bit too elitist and unrealistic for me. Afterall, the only reason Playa has a Starbucks is because too many of the purists told their friends about the place, to begin with.
