Clapping in Teotihuacan
This is from previous visits to the pyramids in Teotihucan (north of Mexico city), but you can try in several other pyramids. It depends on the inclination of the stairs and platforms. I have done it also in Edzna, near Campeche city, it was very clear, but I can't video and clap at the same time when I go alone without a tripod, hahaha
Try different spots, the resulting echo should sound like a bird, some reaserchers think that the idea was to imitate the sound of Quetzal, the sacred bird of the Maya. |

I tried it in Uxmal, amazing, in the Nunnery quadrangle the plaza has such acoustics that I had trouble deciding where the sound was coming from.
In Coba in the main pyramid, but also at the "paintings building" is possible to get a very clear "bird chirping" |
