But cliff jumping? Oh HELLZ NO! Won't see me flinging myself off a rock into the ocean any time soon. Although Jason jumped from the highest point when we were at The Caves (near the lighthouse) - must have been around a 30 foot jump
Oh I've jumped off every ledge in every picture 100 times already in my mind. Awesome pics!

I would jump off that 3rd tier just above where Riss is jumping. Nothing more fun and scary than thinking about the the jump, AFTER you're falling. What a rush!

Thank you for your opinion.

I did not mean wrong as in 'there is something wrong with nudism' I meant that there is someting wrong with this picture, is all. Not something you see every day in Mexico, a catamaran full off naked people!

I am sure they were all having a grand old time. Good for them. Not my cup of tea at ALL, but whatever turns your crank.

I read some trip reports from Hedo and it made me feel dirty....people having sex in the hot tub in public....ew...

There was a couple who I am certain were swingers who were trying to entice us at Rooms, too. Um, thanks but no thanks! Sex with strangers is something I outgrew in my twenties.

Mogs-yes I tried it (callaloo) and I liked it. But I didn't really like the ackee and saltfish very much.

Uno, you know me, I have a soft spot for that coast. I like mountains and the cliffs reminded me of that too.

The advice my husband was given: Pinch your nose, grab your nuts, and try to stay vertical.

Any activity that has "grab your nuts" as an instruction is one I think warrants avoidance. But hey, that's me.

We used to jump off bluffs at a place in Missouri, from about 40 feet above a pool in a river. You only forgot to cup your hands below your nuts once. This jumper doesn't have nuts, though. Used to go there in high school and jump and camp and drink and stuff

I've jumped hundreds of times off piers, cliffs and bridges from 10 to 50 plus feet. (And once off a 2 story house into a backyard pool. Don't ever try that one. 8 feet of water is NOT enough. ) The fun about jumping is it's scary every time. I get scared on a high latter. But if it's over water, I'm jumping!

I have a story like this but in reverse. A whale watching boat close to shore and 2 newly weds on a secluded beach on the Oregon coast. It was embarrassing. Probably for the whale watchers too.

Maggie,
Our first trip to Negril we split our time between Idle Awhile and Rockhouse. At Rockhouse we had booked a standard room, but upgraded us to a premium villa for 3 of our 4 nights. We couldn't have afforded it otherwise, but if anyone is ever able to it is so romantic and unique. loving your pics.

Well we would not go there either, but the viewing excited this couple who then went and had their own private Idaho, or whatever they call it these days. We've been camping with them and they never made a play for us.

I was done in my twenties too - got married at 26. Going to be 33 years in a couple of weeks. Do the math and I am really old

A district fair helicopter ride spotlighting a young couple in a local cemetery was the story of a college friend of mine. She was one of the two on the ground

ouch

Actually it was more my pride that was hurt....the four Italian boys watching were snickering (but they never did it! )

I was the only one who jumped at Xel-ha the first time we went there. I don't know how high it is, but I can remember wondering "when was I going to hit the water". It was a blast!

That would be the perfect Negril stay, IMO!! Awesome!

Apparently 'Lifestylers' are A-ok with people saying no nicely....we didn't have to say no because they didn't come out and ask....we are pretty prudish, I mean 'traditional'. They were very nice people, though. From New York.

I sure hope so!!

50 feet, Dana? I can't imagine jumping that far!

I will try to finish up in a couple of nights....my mom and stepdad are coming back from Vegas tomorrow and staying 2 days, so it might be a bit longer. Not that much left, but a few more pics and an interesting story.

That is pretty high, there! I didn't jump that one! Just floated by on my tube and watched the other people jump.
