This moring at 7:30 am I was out feeding the horses. It was 14 degrees. Thick frost on everything. Standing in the sun not moving was warm, but walking created a wind chill.

Today is sunny tho... and so far looks promising. I think the high is supposed to be around 50.

16 days until we see Playa!! Too good to be true! I remember when it was 16 weeks.

Heat wave...Heat wave...It is about 40 F so far and should make about 65 today...Last Wednesday we broke all records and made it to hmmm let me calculate...76 F...That is mid summer temps for us... And honest, they didn't pipe in the sunlight as some believe...

o.k. trip report from little Mexico.AKA villa sun seekers....
woke up at 9:00am but it was really 10 so I was already running late...got dressed...swim trunks,shades,flip flops...made my way out to cenote donamichi....water looked a little cloudy..droped two bags of shock in..swept bottom and skimmed the top...aahh...ready for swimming...sun was shinning and it was about 78 F....made my way to the frig...and grabbed a negra modelo drank it down pretty easy....grabbed number 2 by this time i figured I need to check the grill situation and it made me look busy as Donna was doing some indoor cleaning...so beer in hand sun shinning down i cleaned the grill...ten minutes later the cenote was a little low on water so i managed to grab a hose and put more in....i was getting kinda hot now with all the major prep work gping on so i had get another beer and relax for a little while...Donna made me go to the store with her for Dinner stuff and more beer...We went to Randalls instead of walmart to avoid the crowds....We bought 3 lbs. of jumbo shrimp and 4 lbs of fresh Basa fish as well as some pacifico,and corona.....back to villa sun seekers,and unloaded...was very tired after that so i had to sit in the cenote and drink an ice cold cerveza....couple of hours passed and we did nothing....swam in the cenote and layed in the sun...pretty much a perfect day....i started a fire and let the coals get nice and hot...friends started showing up and we cooked and swam and drank beer all day.....dinner then an early night to bed....about as good as it gets if your not in the real PDC>>>just try and pretend.....until next time...cya
