Aventura spa treatments and Tulum query
We're heading to the Aventura spa in three weeks! We were at the Riu Palance last year and loved it but didn't get a chance to do any spa treatments or visit tulum.
I would love to know what people's favourite spa treatments were and WHOM I should ask for? I recall someone posted that PAUL was "HOT HOT HOT" but that he is no longer there. Any other "cuties" I should ask for?? Also, when you visit Tulum, how do you get to the beach? Can you just walk down from the ruins or do you need to take a taxi from there? Is there a "best location?" at tulum. We'd like to find a location for hangin out topfree (no pun intended  )with great food and drinks available on the beach - is there such a spot that we can easily get to? thanks! |

Aventura spa treatments
My wife and I both enjoyed the Hot Stone massage treatment. It was heavenly. The Aroma Therapy massage treatment is pretty good also. It's been too long since we were there I cannot remember the young lady's name who did the treatments but she did a fantastic job and eneded up putting me asleep on the table.

Agreed - hot stone therapy. My wife loved it.
Tulum beach - take a taxi from the ruins, or walk, to the El Paraiso cabanas. Along that stretch of beach, from the ruins to the rocks in front of Diamante K, both you and your wife can wear - or not wear :o - whatever you want. No problemo. A couple of bar/restaurant/cabana places (El Paraiso, La Vita e Bella) for food and drinks. Finish up the day with some drinks and guac at Gringo Daves. Be sure to post some pictures
