So difficult to make the decision EF vs LE

I typically love choosing accomodations for our group. However, not being familiar with El Faro or Luna; I am just stuck.
All information on both condos seem to be fantastic. Getting information from agents on both seem to differentiate a bit.
I guess I just want to ensure that we are getting the exact accomodations we book.
I wish I could fly down for a couple days; just to see for myself

Friends of mine booked and are now staying at an ocean front condo in Luna Encantada and they love it. I think they paid about $8000 US for the month of April.

I stayed at El Faro in November! The condo we rented was exactly like the one in the pictures they provided! I loved it!!!!! Hoping to book there again for July!

We're booked @ El Faro for June. I considered LE too but the prices were just enough more to make me rule them out and go with El Faro.

EF vs LE

I just stayed at LE. Pros are that the condos are beautiful, especially enjoyed the rooftop deck, great location, however, a big negative in my mind was the fact that they did not have many beach chairs, umbrellas or tables. The few they had were gone by 9 am, the ones left were broken so we needed to go to a beach club which in my mind defeated the point of renting a condo directly on the beach. In the future I will rent a condo where there is a beach club like EF, Taj or some others.

El Faro

I also looked at both for my vacation coming in June... The thing that sold me on El Faro was that the booking company was willing to lower the price by about $250 for the week... The price at LE was about $200 less than El Faro-- and when I told her that- she lowered the price for us...Well, that sold me on the place...
I havent seen it in person yet, but the pictures sure look beautiful...

Good luck!!! Which ever you choose, you know you'll have a fabulous time!!!

You will get the condo you book. They are the booking agents for the owners. Once you book with them you will see the availability of that condo blocked for your dates. Salsagirl as you know I stayed at LE numerous times and booked for El Faro for two upcoming trips. You can't go wrong with either but if El Faro is cheaper go with that. Jump in!

There used to be a beach club next door to LE. We utilized Bang Beach Club while we stayed at LE all the time. Someone (Usually Jorge) bringing us food and drink...wonderful. However, on our most recent trip we witnessed an incident at Wicky's and I thought some of the beach club people were rude. They had a stage set up for a band later that day. The guy testing the sound system cranked the music way up. We were enjoying our breakfast until the music was turned up so loud. We were almost done so we made no complaint. Some of the folks staying at El Faro were not so tolerant and complained. The music was initially turned down, but I could see that some of Wicky's staff were itching to turn it back up...especially one little waitress/hostess. The music was soon turned back up and those at the condo were not happy, especially the group preparing for a beach wedding later that day. We didn't see how the disagreement ended and I would be a bit concerned if I was renting at El Faro and the Wicky's staff was so inconsiderate.

Guess it depends on time of year---we were at LE last June, plenty of beach chairs, plenty at the pool. One of the waiters at the first beach bar south of LE brought us drinks from their bar to the LE pool, we both kept a tab, settled up and tipped him well at the end of the day for his efforts. Also, the sandwiches at Fusion make a good snack in the middle of the day, just steps away from LE. Loud music was never an issue when we were there, never heard any while in the unit or at the pool. Again, June is considered a 'slow' month, or so I've heard....
