Chiles en nogada should be a season dish, as the best nogada is when you have fresh nuts and pomegranate, you can use dry nuts but it won't be the same.

I haven't been there, but Tony and Cheri of the Luna Blue say it is some of the best arrachara in Playa. It is on my short list...

I have no idea since I have been there, but based on location and the price of everything else, I would guess the drinks are about 25 pesos for a beer (not sure how to guess on other stuff, but I would say cheaper than 5th but not as cheap as El Fogon).

So you think El Fogon would be cheaper in the long run?
I am thinking about taking 14ish people.... can you say ouch!!! ha ha

Plus we do LOVE El Fogon...

It would be VERY tough to seat 14 at El Fogon, if not damn near impossible. La HerraDura would be better on that end.

That being said, if you have 14 people and also want authentic Mexican at cheaper prices, I would consider Los Amigos, off 26th and 30th.
