Has anyone done a limo transfer from the Airport to Playa? I wanted to suprise my husband and friends for our June trip. Any suggestions on companies??

We used Lomas travel in March from cancun to the Royal. When we got off the plane, they didn't have our names on the transportation list. (we had already pre-paid). It was a real hassle, but finally our van arrived (not in the greatest condition either). It took a lot of going back and forth to the Lomas travel desk in the hotel to make sure that our names were on for the return trip. I think it would have been better had we taken the free transportation that came with the trip. We thought it would take less time if we took a private van. A friend recommended Cancun Transports - should have booked with them in the first place.

A limo sounds like a nice idea, but a comfy, clean air-conditioned van with a driver who stops for beers for you is also fun!

I am not sure I would like being in a limo...can't really see the sites while driving from the airport to playa. But that is your choice, of course.

Thank you so much for you replies...We are booking a limo because it is our anniversary. We did the regular transportation before and thought it would be nice to upgrade to a limo on this trip! We are going to suprise our friends because they think we are doing the shared transporation included with out package. I appreciate all the feedback and thanks for taking the time!!
