Error message when trying to post a pic...

I am trying to post a couple pics from photobucket. When I do, and preview my post I get and error message that reads:

The text that you have entered is too long (1364004 characters). Please shorten it to 15000 characters long.

Why??

I've been having that issue for about a week only it just says Invalid file type.

And Uno, you get an invalid file type from Photobucket?

No. When I try to attach directly from my computer. I tried posting a pic then re saved it in a variety of formats and sizes. Same message. Then I tried attaching a random image I have posted in the past as a test and got the same thing.

I just tried a few random pics again... "This is not a valid image file." Is the message.

I just copied Lenny's pic to the desktop and tried to attach it. Same thing.

Same thing happened to me yesterday - I wanted to change my profile pic, not able to do it. I got the same error message repeatedly, just gave up.

Strange, Photobucket is working fine for me. Just added the photo above using Photobucket. It is a .jpg image file. Are the images you're trying to upload .jpg files or another file format?

I think they're jpg. I don't belong to Photobucket or any of those sites because i don't have a digital camera yet. Deniisea- you helped me years ago put my picture on here! I'm still techno impaired!

Well you have an excuse then. I'm not. I saved in various formats and sizes. Nothing will work. It's not you. I even tried from multiple computers.

Thanks, usually I just blame myself! Nice to know it is not me for once! I've got a Bose sound system I can't get to work, isn't that sad?

You're copying the [IMG] code and pasting that in your post?

I'm having problems posting pics again !! Ok, so it worked from my photobucket (pic below).... but when I just try to copy a random image from the internet and paste it, the pic will show up in post but then when I hit preview, I'm getting that error message about it having too many characters or something?? "The text that you have entered is too long (579612 characters). Please shorten it to 15000 characters long." Why does this keep happening??
