I agree 100% - as long as they are prepared properly. Or should I say the way that I like them prepared.

Total bummer. He is still going strong in PM and has opened up a cool new quesadilla joint in the pueblo too!

Sorry to read this although the last meal we had there was less than memorable. It was very dissapointing to us as we had really looked forward to it. Guess we'll have to try his place in PM.

If you are referring to John Gray's in Playa - it closed quite awhile ago. Then taken over by the SUR group as LATERAL Restaurant which, I believe, is now closed as slowly all stores/restaurants on Calle Corazon will close as re-development gets underway..

Yes, one of the few real sit-down places, quiet, shady, real benches - better see it now while you can - only a few months left now till it's swallowed up in the (cement) mix. Hate to see it go.

Too sad...so so sad.

What will happen to Pachamama (my favorite!) and HOT Baking Co. etc... ?

I agree to a certain extent that change and growth is good for Playa?
Not all of it though.
Calle Corazon is a jewel...the best little street! It brought distinction to Playa. The unique and quaint Cachet that Calle Corazon offered will sorely be missed.
Forever.
