Hello, I'm new to the board and was wondering if anyone has review on the Iberostar Paraiso del Mar Hotel? I am planning a honeymoon for Oct. and haven't been able to find much feedback on this property yet. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

My wife and I were at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach last year at this time. We had a geat stay. The restaurants, entertaiment, the staff everything was great. They have a river pool with three swim up bars, a beautiful beach, and the grounds were imaculate. We highly recommend this resort. They have a shuttle bus that will take you to Playa. You can also use the facilities at the other Iberostars in Playa and Cozumel.

My family is staying at the Iberostar Beach at the end of May. Does anyone know if there are any theme nights at the regular buffet, ex. lobster,Mexican food, etc? I want to make reservations to eat at the special restaurants when it is not a theme night--if they have those.

We stayed there last March they didn't have theme nights for the buffet restaurants. They do have specialty restaurants make your reservations as soon as possible upon arrival.

Feedback on iberostar paraiso del mar

My wife, 4 yr old son and I will be probably going to iberostar's paradise beach side hotel (the other side of paraiso del mar) in March, April or May. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated.

How is the snorkeling in front of the hotel?

Did you use the child care? How was it?

How are the buffets? Is the food good?

If you get a beach front room, how far is it from the beach? I hear things can be a bit of a walk.

What room locations do you recommend?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi--There is a lot of great info on it at the TRIP ADVISOR web site.

www.tripadvisor.com

We just booked our tip there today! I have heard there is a hotel going up next to the property and I am hoping it's not too noisy!!

Anyone been lately?

Excursions

Just wondering what kind of excursions are offered from the hotel? Hubby have gone on cruises the past two years and we are anxious that there won't be enough to do at the resort. Also does anyone know the prices of the excursions. Thanks in advance.
