I like animals, but maybe they should enforce the Leash Law as well.

If there is one, I wholeheartedly agree.
If there isn't one - there should be.

Maybe you could tell Filliberto Martinez to look into it.

I'll tell you what: we went to Luna Blue tonight. The dogs hadn't been out in over a week and it's one of the few places in Playa where you can belly up to the bar and bring your dogs. The guy that normally plays on Wednesdays was out of town, so we had no live music but you know what? Some great people showed up, we all had a great time, many of us had our share of booze, and it felt exactly like Playa always has, exactly like it felt when I first came here in 1997. So what if you can't stop at the OXXO and grab a beer and drink it while you shop or make your way to the first or the next bar? This is still a really fun, really groovy town.

I'm guessing this ordinance was desined to curb those people who use the street as a bar. Many of them never go into any of the drinking establishments but they hover just outside them. Then I'm guessing those of us in the stuffy crowded bar step outside with our drink to join them. Personally, I think it's a stupid law... I'll take pre-2007 playa any day of the week.

As for New Orleans... I love their tolerance for drinking in the street. Obviously, you've never been to Mardi Gras if you consider normal New Orleans a bit bizarre.
