Most breast masses are benign-thank God. I like to tell my patients that really cute shoes are MUCH worse-lol. And besides, it's an uplifting experience (ok-smack me now). I wish I could have been there for you, I give hugs with my mammos a lot, so I'm sending one now (((((x)))))
I take that hug and send you one rihgt back!!!!!! (hugs)
the test really was not to bad just a bit uncomfortable. My masses are pretty large ( one of them covers the whole top of my breast) It's from the LCH so hopefully this round of Chemo will take care of it.

I'm going to talk to the Dr. Friday about the Port not like I've not had worse ROFL

I am doing well, done with chemo, got some nice new curly hair and I am on to recon surgery

Do you have a medi port (in your chest) or a line in your arm ?
I prefer the one in the chest/mediport for chemo - it is just easier and can stay in for years if needed and will cut down on the number of times you have to be stuck for everything ! It beats the other - hands down all the way. I had the small one and it was so easy. So dont be afraid of that.

For bone pain I took B6 vits - it really did help, but I know how painful it can be - that was the worst part of my chemo was the bone pain.
I also took Claritin for this - I dont know why it helps, but it did. Another chemo nurse tip ~

Also for mouth issues - eat lots of ice during chemo, the cold closes the pores or what ever in the mouth and helps (it really does) and a old chemo nurse told me to gargle with a mixture of malox, benedryl, chloriseptic...works wonders and better than the mouthwash from the drug store.

I had all the steroids to - and they did a number on my sugars and eyesight...I am working with a doc to get those back to normal.
As for the dark circles - I got those during chemo..I am not sure why, but they did go away.

One positive thing that chemo did for me was clear up my skin -completely....smooth and even wrinkles seemed to be less prononced.

Sending you strength and prayers !
I have the one in my arm. Forsure going to talk to the Dr. about it.

for some reason ice burns my mouth so badly it's unbareable. I can do a hot drink though and that helps a little but anything cold sends me in tears. Ty for the the tips for the other things I can mix together because my insurance does not cover the one the Dr. has me on now.

I AM SO GLAD your in remission!!!!!!!!!! that makes me feel so good and gives me a lot of hope. I didn't lose all my hair with my last one , it just went really brittle and thinned out a lot. This one I'm waking up with hair on my pillow's and a few handfuls have already came out. oh well . Going to go look at a Wig sometime soon.

and YAY for good Skin!!! That's a great postive hu? For the cost of fighting this we should get perfect skin and make our body perfect also HAHA we can dream

PLEASE keep in touch I've been thinking about you a lot and I'm so happy your off the chemo now ( and hoping that does mean remission!!!!)
