I heard their bringing in a couple of extra horses to ride the sidelines after all the Calgary TD's!!! Just to much for one horse...

Sask. Riders sure know how to clear out a Calgary Football Stadium fast.

The leader of the fast exit was coach Hufnagel who huffed his way out as fast as he could

Glad I did not bet on the games... Congrats Hamilton ...Hmmmm Two years after being told by the Calgary Stampeders he wasn't good enough... Henry Burris is returning to the Grey Cup.

and Riders you did it when it counted..I am so Proud to be from Saskatchewan...(Fans support their team no matter if they win or lose) So happy the Riders get to Play in hometown Grey Cup...Party began yesterday...

My husband will be there too, our best friends have season tickets and she had to go to a teacher conference in Boston so Don gets to go....I will be watching from the comfort of some friends' warm living room, thank goodness!

I just went to my first Rider game in about 15 years this past July, it was 30C that day so it was great, but this is winter! Although it sounds like it is going to hopefully be quite nice, only -2c? Have fun! And GO RIDERS!

I see that Sask. is in a deep freeze right now.. Few events in Regina had to be cancelled.. Still looking good for Sundays game but read that it could be cold in the stands if the wind is up...
We used to sit in sleeping bags... The days when the stands were not full of all green fans....Our green bags were not the right green nor for High School Red and White colors.

High School football was big and when I went to Bedford in the 60's we had one of the best teams...
At that time Happy to say..I Had a very good friend and his friend who got a hold of 2 buffalo coats and wore them to all games and even took them to Regina for Provincials.... Ones the street cops wore.. There was always room for 2 in them so my GF and I had a warm up place... When I had a BF snuggling helped... Sometimes during halftime us gals would play powder puff football... Our put together crazy outfits were really not warm but long johns came in handy...
Great memories... Now I also watch the games in warm places.. Pubs or at relatives ..home or friends ... Today picking up Grey Cup party food and of course wobbly pops...
btw..fellows in pic were not the HS friends.. lol

Forgot to add... I had a friend who on a dare streaked a rider game..( I did not see this ) It must have been Willy Chilly .. Happy he had the fun ..later drafted for NHL came home on break ..took out dirt bike crashed and became a T paraplegic...
carpenter know you will have loads of fun...

It is going to be zero for a high Sunday....that is downright cozy!

Was -40C (-40F!) here this morning with the wind chill...brrrrr! January weather.

Some morons lined up at Best Buy last night all night for the new X-box.

Hubby is wearing his Sorels and his skidoo suit with a jersey over top....no watermelon lid for him.....maybe a Rider toque!

No doubt here will be a few "larger" guys going shirtless in the stands today. Theres not enough beer in the world to make me do that. I wonder if them watermelons have an insulating factor?

My wife and I were lonely Ticat fans in a sea of green. Not as busy as previous years and cleared out thinned out early
