Back in the day. I used to partake in this old smoking ritual.Some of my friends still smoke the herb.
I actually enjoy the scent more so than the effects.

Hypothetically though, it's not completely a myth. Or at least I would say that if you seek out potent strains then the top of the range today is supposedly extremely potent. For example, I've heard from a friend of a friend that he and his wife were sitting in Greenhouse Namaste (which may already be closed as the Dutch aren't feeling so liberal anymore) and smoking their first of the day, from the so called Amnesia Haze strain. Not even half way through, the walls started to have faces in them, and that half joint, I'm told, made the entire day extremely trippy, with visual effects and all. 40% THC is the number my friend's friend was quoted.

Of course this is without considering some other things allegedly going on, like many people supposedly using centrifuges to obtain pure THC. (which I'm sure is nothing new, but it's much easier to get good centrifuges)

Some clarification: I have used over the years, but not on a regular basis...I've had some jobs where they KNEW I used because of the hair test....but I didn't lie and it was never an issue.

I don't plan on using this stuff either, but the reason I tried it in the first place was curiosity...I thought it was bogus...a placebo...hype. I don't think it was K2. I've done a little research since and there are apparently a whole bunch of derivatives which keep sneaking under the radar. This stuff had all the hallmarks of 60's style weed including the munchie and cotton mouth factors. I really was astounded by it. There is a raging debate about whether it's good or bad compared to the real McCoy...etc. as far as dangerous etc.

And as conservative as I am in some ways, for some reason recreational weed never bothered me that much. It seems more natural to me than Prozac and the plethora of other drugs society seems to need to function. That's not to say that a school bus driver or a techie at a Nuke facility should be partaking while on duty...but after hours?

Decriminalize it and maybe we'll get rid of these mad scientists and midnight labs and some of the drug war we are losing...I don't really know.....just a thought....
