Nice job Charlie. Can relate to the comment about the picture before 10:00am because of the lack of a bucket of beer. Stayed at the backside of that complex Christmas Week of 2006 with the kids. Worked great. No beach back in those days though. Still amazed at the beach shots in front of Senior Frogs.

Haha! You got pics of my tree at Pez Velo! I had never seen a ficus tree that huge before. We were sitting under having some cervezas, and I was just kinda looking around. Started checking out the tree and realized how freaking huge it was! I must have taken 50 pics of it.

Love the pics, and it looks like you and your daughter made such great memories. She's a lovely young lady.

And now I'm craving some El Fogon like crazy.....16 days!

Yeah...I saw some pics (although don't know when they were taken) of the water coming all the way to the wall of the building. There was no beach at all. Amazing difference. This past trip the beach was in really good shape everywhere with the exception of the area in front of Fusion. They have lost a lot of beach. Also, the beach at The AI at the other pier (Porto Real?) is mostly sandbags...but the foul odor makes up for it!

I like that tree too and probably spent too much time there. On the other hand, the bartenders are great and I have met more interesting people there than any other single place in Playa.
