I hope last nights season opener game, Packers-Saints, is a sign for this NFL season. What a thrilling game with Rogers and Brees putting on a passing clinic. The defense and special times defense of both teams clearly need improving but the offense of both teams did not skip a beat. That 1st quarter performance by Rogers was one of the best I have ever seen by a QB.

Well, that was an interesting opening NFL sunday. A lot of unexpected results. Ravens beating up on Steelers was unexpected and the Texans totally whipping the Colts was a little unexpected.
My surprise of the weekend was the Buffalo Bills beating up on the Kansas City Chiefs in Kansas City. Anyone else have a game that surprised them? |

I am not sure about that. I think Green Bay has a better defense and their offenses match up pretty well. As the Jets proved last year in the playoffs, you can beat Brady with pressure and the right defensive scheme. I would not put Aaron Rogers too far behind Brady, his performance last week was an absolute clinic. Time will tell but the Pats and Packers are clearly above the competition at this early point of the season.
