San Francisco Bay Area and Paso Robles

On the way to the 3rd Annual CA Wine and Tequila Peep Meet we stopped by the Bay area and Paso Robles.

A good friend, Molly, lives in Oakland. Her parents are around our age, and we first met them all back in Carbondale, IL in the 1990's. She was a kid then.

Here is a photo of the three of us in San Francisco

We saw lots of stuff, and I will be posting more photos here. Need to get the ones from my iPhone onto the computer.

Some photos of North Oakland and San Francisco

Molly's cat, Rita

Rita, Ron and the iPad

Ron and Molly at a BART stop

San Francisco City Hall

Statue named Ecstasy in the Hayes Valley Green - initially erected at Burning Man

Another view - this was way tall - I'd say at least 20 feet

Some architecture

You get the idea. Lots of neat stuff

Great pictures! That sculpture is very cool... and I can't believe I wasn't more familiar with Burning Man before (although I have heard of it over the years) until an artist just ordered a bunch of our paint to use inside a huge trojan horse being erected for the 2011 event.
Love San Francisco- I'd like to get back there.

The Burning Man gathering is quite well know on the west coast. As is the Oregon Country Fair. Actually it's pretty much the same crowd. I believe, all of the participants of Woodstock were cryogenically frozen and are thawed each year for the event.

That would involve work. I will do some before too long, but I think the Paso Robles photos will show up on the peep meet thread thing
