It's pretty amazing that the collar doesn't slow her down at all and that it doesn't actually seem to bother her that much! I think we'll be trying to remove it sooner than later because it's driving US more crazy than her. For instance she bounds up the stairs faster than me and that #@*! thing is banging against the back of my legs tripping me the whole way up. She is more boisterous and playful than ever and we are getting whaled on by that thing. She got loose out the front door this morning when I was bringing things out to the car and did "zoomies" all around the neighborhood for 20 minutes before I could capture her in the neighbor's yard... if I wasn't so exasperated trying to catch her I would have loved to have taken a video of her running around with that cone on her head. It was hard to stay mad at her.... and she is driving Caramba more crazy than ever, too. The pain meds definitely have her feeling no pain.
We love our crazy little Mexican dog.
