I must confirm, disappointingly, that La Pummarola's pizza really sucks now. It is bad. I used to love it. The sauce, it's the sauce primarily. It tastes like it just came out of a can, no seasonings or spices whatsoever. Just a very blah yet tangy plain tomato flavor from a can. And the cheese...could use more cheese.
I just had this pizza a few weeks ago. Boo.

I ate a Pummarola last week and thought it was still pretty good. Maybe my tastes are just different because I think Pizza Pazza is one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. We also tried Il Barreto which was OK and La Azotea which was horrible(I thought it was just like Pizza Pazza). We had really hoped to try Piola this trip but just never made it there. We also tried to go to Romeo's but it's closed for a while.

![]() I want to try Luciano's. I'll be down in that area tonight, maybe we'll go. I've heard it's expensive. |

Are you glad that I brought all of the nice weather back with me last night? On last plane into Cancun airport. Got to bed at 3:30am but still met the guys for coffee at Starbucks at 6:30am. Think I am going to nap today .
